Tenure of Commission:
Selected candidates will be granted Indian Navy Short Service Commission initially for 12 years extendable by maximum 02 years, subject to service requirement, performance, medical eligibility and willingness of candidates.
Selection Process :
- Candidates need to apply from the official website of the Indian Navy
- Shortlisting of application will be based on normalized marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree.
- Candidates selected in the final merit list will be required to submit the proof of completing the qualifying degree with minimum 60% marks by sending an email at the address officer@navy.gov.in
- Selected candidates will be informed through the registered email and mobile number
- Merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks for all entries as per availability of vacancies and medical clearance for respective entry.
- Candidates declared fit in medical examination would be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the entry.
- Training will be conducted to the selected candidates as per schedule
- Probation period for SSC (NAIC) Officers is three years and for officers of other branches/cadres is two years is scheduled
