Act Apprentices Notification in South Central Railway :
Online Applications are invited from the candidates residing in districts coming under South Central Railway Jurisdiction only and fulfilling the prescribed conditions stipulated in this notification for engaging 4232 apprentices for imparting training under the apprentice act 1961 and the Apprenticeship rule 1962. There are 4232 vacancies filling this notification. Candidates having 10th or SSC are eligible to apply for this post.

Stipend:
Selected candidates will get monthly stipend as per rules in the Apprenticeship. Candidates will get around 15,000/- per month as stipend
Mode of selection:

- Candidates will be selected based on the merit in SSC
- Selection of candidates is as per the Railway Board guidelines of RBE 120/2015, dated 06.10.2015.
- Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both 10th Class/matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weight age to both.
